In this article, we are going to suggest eight 30-day challenge ideas for you to complete in order to improve your eating habits and eat healthily.
Eating healthily
For some of us it is difficult to change all our bad eating habits completely and suddenly. To help you eat better, we propose ten 30-day challenges, which you can do one after the other or which you can also combine.
Make a fresh juice
It is a relatively simple challenge that involves preparing a fresh fruit juice every day, using a citrus juicer or, better still, a blender. It takes a few minutes to prepare, and requires having fruit in reserve in the fridge.
Benefits: You’ll be getting your fill of vitamins and drinking a genuine 100% fruit juice – unlike those sold as such in shops, which often contain additives. Once you’ve got into the habit, you’ll never look at supermarket fruit juices in the same way again.
A month without dairy milk
For 30 days you will consume neither cows' milk, butter, cheese, nor dairy products. You will be able to replace milk of animal origin with plant-based milk (soya, almond, coconut, etc.).
Benefit: Plant-based milks are more digestible and are rich in vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids. They can be drunk on their own or used for cooking (cakes, sauces, etc.).

A month without alcohol
The difficulty of this challenge varies depending on your usual alcohol consumption. If you are a regular drinker (at least twice a week), it presents a genuine benefit. Your liver will be under less strain, you will feel a boost in energy, and you will save some money. We might add that since alcohol consumption is often associated with smoking and snacking, you should also improve your habits in those areas.

Drink 1.5 litres of water a day
The setup is simple, you just need to buy a large bottle of water a day and drink it before the end of the day. The benefits of water are numerous and well known, yet we often forget to drink, even though it is an essential action to feel in good shape.
Here are a few tips on how to stay well-hydrated:
Drink regularly in small amounts
Drink before, during and after meals
Eating a large salad every day
This challenge will allow you to reduce your daily calories, vary your diet and treat yourself. The list of ingredients that you can use to make up a salad is endless and offers multiple possibilities. You can include raw vegetables, starchy foods, sources of animal protein, and seeds. They are easy to digest and do not contain cooked fats.
A month without deep-fried food
The instruction for this challenge is simple: no foods fried in oil (chips, doughnuts), and no foods pan-cooked in butter or oil. You will have to use the following cooking methods: grilled, steamed, wood-fired.
Benefit: By removing cooked fats from your diet, you will relieve your digestive system, as they are difficult for the body to eliminate and particularly bad for your health.
A month without sugar
In this challenge, we are continuing our hunt for junk food that is high in sugar and fat, and low in nutrients. A month without cakes, desserts, fizzy drinks, sweets, and pastries—do you feel up to it? To satisfy your sweet tooth, you can allow yourself a little jam, honey, and dark chocolate in limited quantities.
A month without junk food
You are going to do yourself some good and save money. For a month, no snacks, no fast food, no pizzas and no ready meals. You are going to cut out those famous empty calories from your diet, meaning those poor in nutrients.
